Topshop's latest exciting project, a secret pop-up shop, launches on Thursday in the fashion retailers London and New York flagship stores and online.Customers will be invited to search within the stores for a secret door hidden behind a curtain of floral arrangements (designed by Meadham Kirchoff) which leads to a unique designer boutique filled with fashion treasures. Such a concept has never been done before and helps to define the already fashion-forward brand as one of the UK's leading fashion labels, concerned with pushing the boundaries of fashion and looking towards what the future holds for fashion.
The pop-up shop will give designers an opportunity to design items which they haven't been able to include in their mainline collections. "It's a great opportunity, for the designers we collaborate with to produce something unusual that they've not done before, and also a chance for our in-house design team to let their imaginations run riot" said Madelaine Evans, Head of Buying at Topshop. "We're thrilled to be the first high street store to introduce a pop-up space of this nature. It's an exciting project for Topshop and I hope it will surprise and delight customers both old and new."
Topshop Secret Store is exclusive to the London and New York flagship stores for just two weeks from Thursday 26th May and selected pieces will also be available online.
Designers involved include Meadham Kirchoff, Masir Mazahr, Pamela Love, Maria Francesca Pepe, Emma Cook, Ann-Sophie Back, Michael Van der Ham, Steve Morris, Tom Scott, Boutique and Unique.
