Fashion moments of 2011
2012 is almost upon us and so, it is at this point in the year that we tend to look back over the year that has past. 2011 seems to have sped past so quickly, but there certainly were plenty of fashion moments in the past year that we mustn't forget. From the likes of the leggy Blake Lively and Rosie Huntington-Whitely to the chic and elegant Emma Watson and the Duchess of Cambridge in that dress, here are some of my favourites...

Feeling blue this new years?
Many of us may be feeling a little blue after Christmas, but instead of feeling blue this week, lets wear it! New years eve is the perfect night to get all glammed up and look your best, but instead of grabbing that predictable black dress, why not consider a blue number instead? Here's some of my favourites...

This is the first time that a musician has performed at the Harrods sale, but after Florence's performance today, it looks like it won't be the last.
After performing, Florence was whisked to the Harrods Penthouse for a chat with Stylist magazine - check it out here.
My (post) Christmas List...
Now I know we've just got our Christmas pressies and so I shouldn't feel the need to browse the likes of topshop.com and Asos because I have enough clothes and goodies, right?
Wrong! I cannot remember a time when I didn't have a wish-list of clothes, shoes and accessories that I am craving. I may not be able to afford to buy them all at once (or even at all), but there is no harm in looking and hey, what with it being Christmas, I'm sure there's some Christmas money that I can put to good use...
1. (skirt) Asos £24.50
2. Wildfox (available at Asos) £95
3. Asos £15
4. See by Chloe £39
5. Asos £38
6. Topshop £55
7. Asos £120
8. Asos £150
9. Topshop £12
10. Marc Jacobs £30
Is it really bad that I have already bought number 6 and 7?! Ooh and I think number 2 has to be next!

Get cosy this Christmas
This festive season is all about the knitted Christmas jumper, so grab those discarded jumpers your granny knitted for you in years gone by because they are now cool!
Okay, so neither of my grannies have ever knitted me a xmas jumper, which, until now, has been quite a relief. Yet now, I find myself feeling a tad jealous of those who did - am I really the only one who has been missing out? Well, if like me you are without a festive knit, then check out the above designs for some inspiration. It's hard to get this look wrong really; although I wouldn't start taking any style tips from Bridget and Mark quite yet. But one things for certain, whether you opt for a classic fair-isle design or a quirkier look, like the penguin Topshop option (shown above), make sure you get yours soon; Christmas is just over a week away now!

Cute like Little Mix
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to Little Mix!! Well-deserved winners of this years X Factor!
Watching their performance of Silent Night on tonights final, I couldn't help but notice their adorable jumpers! These particular angora woolies are available from Topshop for £65. Why do I know this? Because the pink version is already on my Christmas list. Although, I'm having second thoughts now after seeing theirs with their names stitched on - mine just won't look as good now surely?
Well done girls! x

All That Glitters
Ask anyone I know and they'll tell you, that when it comes to fashion, there is nothing I love more than something Topshop and a bit of glitter. Ok, so maybe I might actually prefer a bit of Miu Miu or Chanel, but let's try and be realistic here.
On one of my very frequent visits to Topshop's website, I spotted this feature on glittery accessories. I can safely say that I definitely wouldn't mind having any one of these sitting under my tree this Christmas. I guess, like a magpie, I live for glitter. Too cheesy? Well, tis' Christmas.

Dreaming of a white Christmas...
Christmas is only 18 days away, eek! And although there may not be any snow around right now (unless you're living up north), we can still all give ourselves the white Christmas we're all dreaming of with these gorgeous winter goodies.

Getting Festive at Jack Wills in Chelsea
I just couldn't help getting all festive tonight at the Jack Wills Christmas Shopping event in Chelsea with Harriet and Shona.
Greeted by live music, mince pies, Quality Street and Bucks Fizz, we were definitely in the mood for some xmas shopping! In the words of my good friend Shona, I bought a 'wee' xmas present for my brother, whilst she bought some tartan pj's (very jealous, they are gorgeous!) and Harriet, rather surprisingly, decided not to buy anything (what's happened to you Harriet?!)
Possibly the best part of the night, the Jack Wills goody bag was amazing! In one of their signature pink and blue stripe gift bags, we each received a limited edition mug, Christmas undies and scarf. The scarf in particular is simply adorable and I can't wait to wear it out in this cold Winter weather. Considering a ticket to the event only cost £20, which was redeemable on any purchase over £50, I don't think we did too badly!

| The Jack Wills goody bag (Try not to be too jealous) |
As crazy as this might sound, I am a bit of a Jack Wills newbie, in that until today, I didn't own anything Jack Wills. Well except for some Jack Wills shampoo, conditioner and soap which I got for Christmas last year, but that doesn't really count does it? And even though I didn't treat myself to anything tonight (that's what it's like being a student) I can safely say that I will be asking Mr Claus for some Jack Wills goodies this Christmas - let's just hope he's reading!
