Those of you who know me well will know that my mum is a talented cake decorator and every year she impresses me with the cakes she creates for my birthday. Whether it's a Super Mario cake to laugh at the various nicknames I've got, such as Luigi, simply due to the fact I am Italian (I know), or last years Parisian cake which was inspired by the Miss Dior Cherie adverts which I absolutely adored, I can always guarantee I will get an amazing birthday cake and this year was no exception.
My mum surprised me with this Pinkflamingokisses birthday cake and cupcakes and I just knew I had to share it with you all. I hope you like it just as much as I did. It tasted pretty good too. Oh I do love a bit of carrot cake!
