I've been taking longer than usual trying to choose a nail design this week as it is my birthday at the weekend and I need the perfect nails for my celebrations on Friday, Sunday and Monday. (You might as well make the most of a birthday!) To be honest, I mostly do my nails on a whim, going with whatever idea comes to me as it has always served me well in the past. So, I decided to give pink on pink plus a ton of glitter a go - now you can't get more girly than that! I absolutely love them but am not convinced they are quite right for my dress on friday so I may well be changing them again very soon!
I'm often asked which polishes I use so below are the colours used for this design, plus a different option if you'd rather a more grown-up look pink. I frequently use my set of Models Own glitter polishes as they are perfect for layering over colours or for full on glitter and are available in a great range of shades. Mavala polishes are another favourite of mine as they are long-lasting miniature polishes with a great choice of pink/red shades.
