Sunshine and Strawberries

Returning back to England from sunny Greece, I was sure I'd be met by typically English wet and miserable weather. However, it seems as though I've brought the sunshine back with me as the weather recently has been great! And so, like almost everyone else I know, my family decided to have a BBQ while it was actually possible.

There's nothing I love to eat more in the summertime than strawberries, especially when dipped in chocolate, so that's exactly what I made for everyone as an after-burger treat. Here's how I did it.

Pour your white chocolate buttons into a glass bowl. I like to use Milkybar buttons because they taste delicious!

Place the bowl in the top of a saucepan of boiling water and stir the buttons until they have melted.

 Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate and then place on a clingfilmed tray. Once all the strawberries are done, place the tray in the fridge for at least an hour or so.

 And serve. Display on a cute tray like this pink flamingo one that I used.

They really are as easy as that to make and they taste absolutely gorgeous. Why not give them a try yourselves while the sun is still around?
